Okay. Guilty of running stable on a production system. kernel-package
seems to have made a HUGE progress from potato to sid, especially
documentation-wise. I backported sid's kernel-package to potato and am
currently investigating. Looks like most of my issues are resolved (or
documented) with sid's kernel-package.

They can, with sid's kernel package, by an option in
/etc/kernel-pkg.conf or via environment variable. ~/kernel.pkg.conf
overrides /etc/kernel-pkg.conf, so every user could have her own
settings, which is generally very good news in my environment.

Good work, Manoj.

Greetings
