Do *NOT* run gpm in repeater mode. It's evil (since gpm is sometimes not
able to repeat correctly what comes in from the mouse - it's not able to
repeat the wheel correctly here f.ex.). Gpm should be able to detect a
switch into X and leave the mouse alone and start reading data again when
you switch back into the console.

Comment that line out and use the native mouseport inside X too, that
means *nothing* like the following:

>        Option          "Protocol"              "IntelliMouse"
