The top line of the description is used as the short description.
It shouldn't be half of a sentence, and it shouldn't start with
the package name itself.  Otherwise you get this sort of thing in
a package listing:

cons - A Perl replacement for Make
conserver - Conserver is an application that allows multiple users to watch a
console-tools - Linux console and font utilities.

The long description should also be self-contained, so that it works
both when viewed alone, and when viewed with the short description
displayed above it.
