i hope you're prepared to become the upstream maintainer, since mars_nwe
hasn't been actively developed since july of 1998.

and when i last tried using it (late '98, early '99) it was horribly
unstable, leaked memory like a sieve, and locked solid 2-3 times daily
with a light (5 user) load.
