Re: configuring xf4, was Re: Can't configure 3rd button on mouse
OK, upgrading debconf removed the error message, and it changed the
screens I was presented with, but it did NOT chang the X symlink in
/etc/X11 to point to XFree86! When I change the link myself I get the same
error I got when I pointed it at the svga server:
dwarf:/etc/X11# startx
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xinit/xserverrc: exec: X: not found
giving up.
xinit: Connection refused (errno 111): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.
So, now I'm stuck without any X!
Help?
