i have read this thread, and contemplated the ramifications of this.
the US is not the only country in the world, and even though most USians
seem to think otherwise (me being one of them), their laws are /not/
universal.
adobde seemingly wants control over contries and people not under their
direct jurisdiction. even in places in the world that have less-than-lax
copyright laws.
i am of the mind to apply the patch, no warning boxes, no dialogs,
nothing. or make two packages: one with the patch, and one without.
