IP Addresses

>From Stephen Walton <sjw@exegesis.org.uk>

Hi,

I've got a problem with assiging two IP's to
a single ethernet card. I've modified
/etc/network/interfaces to add eth0:0 with
the second IP. When the network starts up
on reboot, I get an error message

SIOCADDRT: File exists

message. Although I get this message, the second
IP appears to work OK. The box is a live server
and I have checked it out by putting a few web sites
spread between the two IP's. These are accesible.

Any ideas?
