Hi,
I've just been lurking for a few days but I'd have to disagree with you
here. RC doesn't justify a NMU because there is no ``hard'' deadline
to release in Debian :-). So I'd really think you should let your
mail timeout for a few weeks before doing a NMU, which you are going to
do anyway.
