I'm fiddling around with a wmswallow
(http://burse.uni-hamburg.de/~friedel/software/wmswallow.html)
package. I don't think using it makes sense for anything else
than with WindowMaker.

You're right in general though. A "WMDock" menu hint would
probably make sense.
