Xfre 4.0.1 => no 3dfx module

How can I disable the 3dfx module ? The 3dfx module wants tha 3gext.g
file and that is nog includes in Potato and I don't want to install that
file (I have a G400 chip).
I have read that I have to disable the manifest check and comment a line
in a Makefile, but I don't rember what makefile and wich line to #
comment out..
