No it's not.  In fact, I should be uploading a long overdue update of the
arla packages - probably early next week.  I'd suggest openafs since as
Transarc themselves state, AFS will continue under two streams:

  a) openafs - unsupported, open source
  b) transarc afs - supported, not open source
