Ok, seems Chistian's fixes to sawfish 0.33.1-1 has fixed whatever was wrong before. Debian menu is back and working with this in my .sawfishrc (require 'sawmill-defaults) (require 'debian-menu) (setq apps-menu debian-menu) Well, thank you all, hopefully nothing like this happens again :)
