ITP: tripwire 2.3
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Based on Stephen Zander's message
(http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-0005/msg02076.html) the non-free
tripwire package has been orphaned. I haven't seen any indication that
it's been adopted.
Tripwire 1.2, the currently packaged version, is not only non-free but
*ancient*, the most recent modifications having been made in '94.
The commercial, maintained, up-to-date version of tripwire was recently
re-released under the GPL. It is a significant improvement over 1.2 and
is entirely eligible for inclusion in main. See http://www.tripwire.org
for more info.
If nobody has stated an ITP, I would like to package the GPL'ed tripwire
2.3. I have not yet officially become a Debian developer, but am in the
queue.
