Local distribution mirror plus "localization" site
For ease of use in system administration, I'd like to mirror both
stable and unstable, as well as have a "localization" mirror,
containing deb's of our locally built kernels (MOSIX-enabled and
others), as well as locally maintained statistical software (for
example, ESS, a statistical analysis mode for Emacs which I am the
lead developer and which is in Debian, but not as up-to-date as my
source tree, as well as non-Debian packaged code that we use).
Anyway, the point is that while I now realize how to create a local
mirror for debian (which could become a secondary push mirror if we
get permission), I don't quite know where to read up to setup a
non-official debian apt-get'able site on the same mirror (i.e. using
either different line in sources.list, or a "local" section on the
same line) , and would appreciate pointers (I've looked at the docs in
/usr/share/doc/apt, but...?)
Pointers to the docs and where in the FM much appreciated!
best,
-tony
