Printing out the file on fanfold paper and paging through it by hand is
a better pager than 'more'. :)

I seem to be spending half my time at work at the moment compiling up
Debian utilities on various Unixen in order to get a halfway usable
userspace. 'less' was one of these on HP-UX, as the /usr/local/bin/less
on that machine is compiled with broken terminfo libraries, and their
'more' was just too painful to contemplate using. It's rather weird when
your .bashrc does something along the lines of this:

  export PATH=$HOME/bin/`uname`/`uname -p`:$HOME/bin/`uname`:$PATH
