Tcl 'lib' location.

Hi, while looking at debianizing several Tcl packages, I noticed this
in /usr/lib/tcl8.3/tclConfig.sh:

TCL_PACKAGE_PATH='/usr/local/lib /usr/lib'

Is 'tcl8.3' appended to this somewhere? Because the actual packages
are in /usr/lib/tcl8.3, no?

Furthermore, would it make sense to reorganize this in some fashion?

/usr/lib/tcl/
             8.0/
             8.2/
             8.3/
             common/

Where common is for packages that work with all versions of Tcl in the
distribution.

Does this make sense at all? Or maybe /usr/lib/tcl-common ?
