Oh, and removing non-free pretty-well makes contrib worthless: either
contrib packages will not have the appropriate Depends: lines for
various libraries they might need, or if they do, user's will have to
go out of their way to meet those dependencies (since `make install'
in an upstream source generally doesn't update dpkg's database).
