ITP: golded+
I am intending to package golded+, the successor of the well-known mail
editor GoldEd. GoldEd reads and writes Fidonet message bases in several
formats, as well as Internet mail and news via Fidonet gates or from SOUP
packages.
GoldEd+ is licensed according to GPL version 2, with parts licensed as LGPL.
I have already created local packages for this program, to be able to use
the program on several machines, and now having become a Debian developer, I
intend to make it part of official Debian.
Together with crashmail (which I have packaged, but uploaded via a sponsor
before becoming a real developer) and ifcico, this will make it possible to
set up a complete Fidonet system on Debian.
Please Cc: replies by mail, I have not yet been able to find out a good
modem-time saving way of reading this list :)
