It is a seperate arch, and has things specific to it, just like any other
arch.

I am fighting Anne because he ignored every email I sent about sparc. He
ignored me when I said that it did not, and could not use a static
apt/dpkg set compiled on potato for slink sparc. He ignored every other
thing I told him about the specifics of sparc upgrades. He did not include
any of this in his unofficial document. I did participate in the
discussion, and the fact that every piece of information that I gave him
was left out means either he wrote the document improperly, or he is not
capable of writing an informative document on upgrades. Pick your troll.
The fact that this document makes no reference to the *official* upgrade
procedures in the boot-floppies docs (available on-line) means he is
ignoring an incredible amount of resources.

The general upgrade procedure is not. HOWEVER, there is something special
about each arch that must be taken into account. That is why there IS
ALREADY an upgrade document in the boot-floppies. Ignoring that, is
ignoring the work of a dozen people, who KNOW what the specifics of each
port is.
