I have been meaning to get the package onto Debian for almost a year
now. It seems that every time I try to do something like this, real
life throws me something else that is higher priority. The latest one
is that I have just started a consulting business with a friend.

If anyone wants to do the Debian packaging, they are more than
welcome. About a month ago, I was approached by someone who wanted to
take over the Gnocatan project. I suggested that they move it onto
the SourceForge, which they did. I just checked, it is currently the
10th most active project on SourceForge, so the move was obviously a
good one.

The 0.4.0 stuff was my major code re-org / re-write in preparation to
placing it in Debian. When that incomplete code was moved to the
SourceForge, it was changed to 0.5.0. It is currently 0.5.1 in CVS,
and nearly all of the 0.4.0 bugs have been removed. Now could be a
good time to do the Debian packaging.
