ITP DBD::RAM

Hi,

I intend to package the Perl module DBD::RAM. This module allows you
to treat Perl data structures and many kinds of files as databases and
to access them via DBI and SQL commands including the ability to
search and sort on a flexible range of criteria as well as ability to
insert, delete and modify records and tables. You do not need an
rdbms system or separate server to work with these databases. Supported
file types include fixed-width record files, XML files, many kinds of
"delimited" files (Comma Separated Values, Tab and Pipe "delimited"
files, Name=Value .ini files, etc.), and user defined files which can
contain data structured in almost any format. Support is also included
for MP3 music libraries and for accessing files remotely via HTTP or FTP.

This is free software. It is distributable under the same terms as
Perl itself as specified in the Perl README file.

Thanks,
Ardo
