gqmpeg 0.7.x is out, bad news is it uses gdk-pixbuf, which is yet another useful GTK+ library that GNOME has ensured only GNOME hackers can play with. I will not support GNOME development and will thus not be able to maintain these apps any longer. The bugs on these programs are releated to its use of imlib for the most part and will hopefully go away -- I was afraid development was going to stop on these programs.
