This is a known problem, I have already filled a bug report. Have a
look at the BTS for details. I have heard the same problem exists for
apache, too. I am not sure what the delay is in fixing the problem
though (from memory it is a release critical bug, too). The maintainer
did say something I while ago, sorry, I can't remember what it was
now.
I think you need to delete the space after "AddDefaultCharset" to get
it to work. IIRC it should read "AddDefaultCharsetName [...]" and not
"AddDefaultCharset Name [...]"
