Hi,
I've discovered a cool set of scripts for doing random stuff with news
feeds. I've found it immensely handy for my (albeit weird) news feed,
so I thought I'd try and package it.
Package: snarfnews
Section: main/news
Priority: Optional
Description: A collection of scripts to manipulate news traffic
Snarfnews is a toolbox of utilities written in Perl5 (+ shell scripts)
designed to help people manipulate Usenet News traffic in useful ways.
The description is stolen straight from the upstream author's web page. :)
The copyright is GPL, and the upstream source is available from
http://www.users.dircon.co.uk/~crypto/download/snarf.html . I'm not yet
a Debian Developer, so Mark Brown <broonie@debian.org> has offered to
sponsor me.
Cheers,
Graeme.
