Fixed in upload installed in archive in the last few hours.

I have been unable to duplicate the speedup problem, and have asked the
submitter for more info on the problem... like which architecture this is on.
A new upload was installed in the archive in the last few hours fixing other
bugs, including the "conflicts prevent upgrade" half of this two-issue bug
report.
