No, I meant an actual argument for a class of devices, like "audio", or
"hamradio". There's a huge case statement starting at line 246 (current
potato) that processes these. It looks like if you don't specify
anything, it does some device building based on your architecture, and
*possibly* (I haven't really looked that closely) at what it can figure
out from /proc/devices.

It looks like there's a target "qic" that will build all the QIC related
devices.

It probably can't figure out ftape from /proc/devices, because it uses
the floppy controller (or ide?).

Of course, it could be set up to just build all non-conflicting devices.
