userdel: invalid option -- ?
usage: userdel [-r] name
Doesn't look like it tars up dirs, but it axes the user. This is on a
potato ppc system.

passwd: /usr/share/man/man8/userdel.8.gz
passwd: /usr/sbin/userdel
