Not so nice, best would be to have an integrated source/binary for these
stuff.

A source only package as was suggested before would also do it, but would be a
bit more complicated to install, since you have to get it with apt-get source,
and then install it by hand. And truly, most data packages are just put in the
package when built, so a sourceless package would be best. (or selfcontained
source or whatever you want to call it). This would need some modification in
the way things are right now, so it would be best to wait for after potato for
doing this kind of things. Also best would be to put them on some other place
than in the normal place, so not everyone will need to mirror the data
section. Also notice that data will mostly not change a lot.
