Soundblaster LIVE
Hi!
There's now support for the SoundBlaster Live and SB Live Value as module
available for Linux 2.2.x.
You can find the source under opensource.creative.com (file: emu10k1...tar.gz).
Download it and extract it. You have to modify the Makefile (change
INCLUDEDIR=/usr/include to INCLUDEDIR=/usr/src/linux/include).
The Linux source code must be available. You also have to build the kernel with
ENABLE_SOUND_SUPPORT=m.
Then run make ; make install.
After install you can insert the module with insmod sound ; insmod emu10k1.
All users who wants to hear something has to be member of the group audio.
The module works fine, I've got no problems.
