After I installed DEBIAN 2.0, I made some changes using "dselect".
During the installation process the following packages are replaced by
newer versions an the downgrades to the former ones.

xbooks from 3.3.2.2-3 to 3.3.2.2-4
     then from 3.3.2.2-4 to 3.3.2.2-3

the same thing happens with:
xfnt100
xfnt75
xlibg6
xlibg6-dev
xserver-svga

The system works properly, but it boring waiting for useless replacing.
I hope this information is enought for finding the misstake.

Yours S.

Thomas Janke

...and you'll be using apt to do all your installing.

Not saying I know how it happened for your hamm installation but it
certainly won't happen for 2.2.
