Bug#44903: general: gnudip errors out in latest potato package

Latest Gnudip package version fails to function and outputs the following
error messages into the log:
dns:/usr/src/gnudip-2.0.6# Can't call method "prepare" on an undefined value
at
/usr/sbin/gdips line 172, <CLIENT> chunk 1.
This is on a up todate potato system with updates/upgrades done on a daily
basis.
