I have used the DHCPCD daemon in a university network, and it does need some tweeking. I wrote program or script to get it to work because it would not setup routes automatically, but I would have to see what I did with it. I don't think it would help much. The 2.2 version seemed better. Is there any way I can help out? Tim Duchene
