Hmm got a better one for that: apmd has an option to execute scripts...
well whenever I want to turn off my linux box I hit the power switch... as
it has a 4 secs hold it will now simply send the apm sleep signal to apmd
and apmd runs the script which contains: 'shutdown -h now', et voila...
it nicely powers off so I can sleep in peace... <grin>
