Conflict between libc6 and libdb2.6-util in potato
Apparently they contain the same file:
[strider:~]# apt-get install libc6
Reading Package Lists... Done

2 packages not fully installed or removed.
Need to get 0B/1575kB of archives. After unpacking 295kB will be used.

dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libc6_2.1.2-0pre6_i386.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite `/usr/bin/db_archive', which is also in package libdb2.6-util
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
INIT: version 2.77 booting
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/libc6_2.1.2-0pre6_i386.deb
E: Sub-process returned an error code (1)
Is this a bug in one or the other? Either way, is it wise to do something like
--force-overwrite? That's how I've resolved this kind of conflict in the past,
but that's just my best guess solution.
Thanks,
Jesse
