I didn't know of it; I downloaded it and gave it a superficial look.
It seems quite similar to my program, by the user point of view.
If I had to begin now with it, I wouldn't.
However, I wrote most of it two years ago, when I didn't know of zlib
at all. And I will release it anyhow. If somebody finds it useful I
will continue working on it, otherwise I will abandon it.
