wdm?  That makes 4. Installed now wdm and during install wdm asked
me if wdm should manage local display.  One point for wdm.  Xdm, gdm, kdm
all try to manage vt7 :0 without asking.

But wdm allows all host to get a login prompt in Xaccess without asking.
Minus point.  Same for xdm.   But one point for kdm:  no XDMCP access by
default.  Does gdm handle XDMCP at all?

Nevertheless all /etc/init.d/?dm script start the daemon without checks
for another dm.

Just more reasons to coordinate the different dm?
