Re: How to access mailserver

Thanks to all for the fast hints to fetchmail.  Unfortunately it
dosn't work as expected:

~> fetchmail
2 messages (1 seen) for tillea at Mailnu01.rki.de (1021 octets).
skipping message 1 not flushed
reading message 2 of 2 (428 octets) fetchmail: SMTP connect to localhost failed: Connection refused
fetchmail: SMTP transaction error while fetching from Mailnu01.rki.de
fetchmail: Query status=10

There are two Problems:
1) Mails which are read (but not deleted of course) via Netscape
   using the pop server directly result in a message like:

skipping message 1 not flushed

2) New mails result in a "Connection refused" as seen above.

Which of these problems is related to fetchmail and where
do I have to search for the problem else.
