Here's the most recent section debian/changelog (not yet released,
because there is a serious bug in handling of stdin/out/err for the
child process):

======================================================
cron (3.0pl1-52) unstable; urgency=low

  * Added 'nice -10' to invocation of cron.{daily,weekly,monthly}
  * Applied OpenBSD patches supplied Topi Miettinen. Big change is
  better handling of timekeeping (in particular, changes to/from daylight
  savings time) (closes:#8499).
  * Close stdin, stdout, and stderr. (closes:#37189, #23231)
