As was stated in this thread:

A one line patch is available (see bugtraq on www.geek-girl.com).

The usual proceding in a case like this is: 

The patch will be incorporated in the Debian kernel-sources and a new
Debian release of the packages "kernel-source", "kernel-image"
etc. will be prepared and released. 

This will be announced publicly, and everyone running 2.2.x will be
advised to upgrade to the new image/sources.
