a problem with the packages. There was little (if at all) work put into the
packaging of 1.1.1. (Stephen was busy with KDE itself). I'm still finding
things like this and am trying to fix this stuff as I go along. I will figure
out where these issues are coming from and get them fixed.

yea...I was pondering this as well when I saw that pam support was being turned
off...
