As I tried to explain in another mail its not only a matter of
speed, its a matter of greater felxibility in handling i18n
characters. May be I didn't read `man grep' up to the end but
I think realizing the thing in perl would gain in a 30% smaller
database and x% more speed. May be x==0 but it makes no sense if
I try to estimate it because I'm not very experienced in sed/grep/perl
programming.
