Re:intent of package set@home



I've just read with much interest this thread (although it's
been less about packaging and more about open source catering
for a controlled experiment). I've done a first cut of the
package while waiting for Paul Anderson (the seti@home
technical director) to let me know about copyright and
for the phone call re my developer status. If anyone wants
to try it out, it's all at:

The setiview stuff looks REALLY cool. If someone wants to package
it, I'd be happy to help. I don't want to own it tho as I'll
be working on packaging my neural network code in the short term
(and doing my job...)
