Another logo treatment...
This is an attempt to "fix the chicken".
I've tried to preserve the bird theme, improve ease of recognition
at small sizes or bad reproduction environments, and generally tighten
up the cosmetic aspects such as line weight and balance.
The color scheme of the current logo is also preserved. The hope with
this logo is that we will have an image that is more "professional" in
the graphic design sense but still visually tied to the current logo
concept. This will make the transition in logos less confusing and
help us diffuse some of the problems associated with the current logo.
While this isn't necessarily the radical ideological powerhouse I would
have hoped for in a logo redesign it does fix the problems of our current
logo. Hopefully this could represent a "patch" on the current design
until we get an idea that knocks us on our butts with how clever it is.
