intent to orphan MH
MH has been obsoleted by nmh, is no longer maintained, and I forsee
some nasty possible problems *may* exist when trying to adapt it to
libc6.1. This is just a guess -- I haven't actually tried to
recompile it. The MH code base dates back to the 70s in some cases,
probably has security problems, and is un-maintained upstream.
Therefore, since I not inclined to continue maintaining it, I intend
to either give it away or orphan it. If no one offers to take it,
then it will probably just be removed outright for potato release.
The 'nmh' package is better anyhow.
Please contact me privately if you are a Debian maintainer and wish to
take over this package. Otherwise I will orphan it in a week or so.
I'll be happy to lend my support and current MH-related email archives
to any poor sap who steps forward to take the package.
