[this is directed to sendmail maintainer] Hi, I have just uploaded new libdb 2.6.4 packages in Incoming. These are new packages, named libdb2.6 version 2.6.4-2, conflicting with part of the previous packages libdb2 (the runtime libs can coexist). Existing sendmail, which depends on libdb2 will continue to work with slink's version as well as with new version libdb2 (2.4.14-3) in Incoming. You can install the -dev version of libdb2.6 and rebuild sendmail, which will become dependent into libdb2.6 . This should work smoothly for users that will upgrade from slink to potatato.
