That's a pita. Is uniprint in free gs now that a new gs-aladdin is released?
Oh, and even you have to admit that magicfilter is a little better
maintained upstream, IIRC :)

Ah, sure. But in general it is sometimes preferable to ditch old and
unmaintained software. However, apsfilter seems not to be in that state
right now.

That's convincing. Seems you, your company or your house mate would be an
ideal maintainer. :P But then, dpkg tells me you are the maintainer. WHat
about your house mate :)
Sorry that I am not of more help (happy magicfilter suer here, I even use
uniprint, that required only a small change to the conf file).
