Re: New Release Manager / VP-Engineering
I strongly endorse Richard as the new Release Manager.
The additional title of "Vice President - Engineering" is as
hangover from an earlier period when "President" and "Project Leader"
were sometimes used interchangeably. Since we don't have a President,
how can we have a Vice-President? If it is felt necessary to have a
title beyond Release Manager, Deputy Project Leader for Engineering
would be consistent with the rest of the organization. Personally, I
think Release Manager is an adequate title for the position.
