exact enough that I remembered it ... :)

yes, apt should ask back, but just as a note.
installing console-tools resulsts in just tha question as it conflicts with
kbd which is an essential package.
So it can be a quite normal and perfactly sane thing to remove an esential
package, but then again, you do this only once and then you have console-tools
...
