No one ever picked up anacron. I am doing so now. I just purchased a laptop and am going to use it as a mobile Debian development station. once I get all the bugs worked out in Debian I will work on anacron. Hope to have a new package up in the next week or two. Christian, thank you for writing this program, I have been meaning to take it up for the last 6 months.
