intent to package: nestra
http://nestra.linuxgames.com/
Nestra is a nintendo emulator for X. It's very similar to ines, which is
debianized (seems to even have the same key setup). Nestra has 2 advantages
over ines:
1. It's free. Of course, nintendo ROM's arn't, so it will go in contrib.
ines is binary-only.
2. It compiles the nintendo 6502 code into _native_ code and exectes it. At
least on my p-166, this does seem to make games smoother.
And there are 2 disadvantages:
1. No sound
2. i386-only, at least until someone ports it to other architectures.
